ABOUT HAINE

(From left to right: Konrad, Chris, Jack, Jean and Claudio)
Hailing from the small Mediterranean island of Malta, Haine has been forging their unique path in the deathcore genre since their formation in 2017. With a mission to defy stereotypes and craft a distinct sound, Haine blends heavy grooves, crushing breakdowns, and melodic overtones into a deeply layered sound.
The band made its debut with singles such as "This Darkness", "Our Own Messiahs", and "I, Empyreal" in 2018, followed by their first music video for Breeding Falsity in 2019. These early releases laid the foundation for their self-titled EP, recorded at SpineSplitter Studio and released in January 2021 to critical acclaim. The EP marked Haine's emergence onto the international scene, bolstered by high-profile reactions from an array of major deathcore acts.
2025 marks a new chapter for Haine with the release of their full-length album, "Fertile Void". This album explores themes of human emotion, self-discovery, and personal transformation. The album’s narrative, conveyed through its ten tracks, invites introspection while delivering Haine’s signature intensity. Notable collaborations include Ben Duerr (Shadow of Intent) on "The Lake" and Andreas Bjulver (Cabal) on "Insentient", elevating the album’s global reach and impact.
Recorded at SpineSplitter Studio under David Depasquale’s guidance, "Fertile Void" reflects meticulous craftsmanship in both sound and storytelling. The project’s immersive themes are complemented by striking visuals, its artwork and also the music videos for "The Lake", "Blood Moon" as well as "Insentient".
With a restructured lineup and a sharpened artistic vision, 2026 marks the beginning of a heavier and more calculated era for Haine. Led by the release of “Contaminated”, the band enters a new creative chapter defined by darker themes, refined aggression and a succession of uncompromising releases set to unfold throughout the year.
"Through this Fertile Void, now we rise from the ashes."
